The Honors College at FIU is unique among its peers. It is home to over 3100 smart, curious, open-minded, and successful students drawn from every discipline at FIU. Our students are referred to as 'dual citizens', as they belong to both the Honors College and their major department. They get the best of both worlds, making their educational experience at FIU exceptional and truly interdisciplinary. At the Honors College, students develop their intellectual and vocational abilities becoming critical thinkers, superb communicators, and active citizens. Our students are prepared to compete in a rapidly changing world where they must be agile, flexible, and adaptable to thrive.
Why are donations necessary?
The Honors College General Endowment provides general support for the Honors College, helping with general expences, scholarships, research and student stipends, and overall scholarship support for educational purposes.
